<? echo $title ;?>Tonya Greer, Licensed Veterinary Technician

With her lifelong compassion for animal care, Tonya has been a valuable part of Pennington Animal Hospital's team since October 2001. Her responsibilities include administering and monitoring anesthesia, assisting during surgical and diagnostic procedures, radiographs, laboratory testing and routine dental procedures. Tonya has an Associate's degree in Veterinary Technology and is a licensed veterinary technician in Alabama.

"I have worked at Pennington Animal Hospital since I was 16 years old," she says. "This has been my first and only job, so I feel at home at the clinic. A lot of my knowledge and skills I have today were learned here."

At home Tonya cares for Pebbles and Bam Bam (Miniature Pinschers), Bosco (Labrador Retriever) and Yayo (Siamese cat). She also enjoys fishing, four wheeling, kayaking, gardening, boating, camping and taking her dogs to Flint River.

<? echo $title ;?>Stephanie Brazier, Receptionist

As one of our receptionists, Stephanie especially appreciates helping clients with questions or concerns about their pets. Her responsibilities include answering the phone, scheduling appointments and assisting clients. Stephanie has a pharmacy technician diploma and joined the Pennington Animal Hospital team in October 2004.

"I like working at Pennington Animal Hospital because of our amazing staff and doctors. We also have amazing clients," she says. "I have made many new friends and have learned so much."

Stephanie has four pets: Lucy (Labrador mix); Happy (Spaniel mix); Sam (Jack Russell Terrier mix); and Sassy (a domestic shorthair). She spends her free time with her son, reading, playing video games and baking. She also enjoys gardening and being with family, friends and pets.

<? echo $title ;?>Brooke Nicole Hendricks, Veterinary Technician

Energetic, funny and punctual, Brooke joined Pennington Animal Hospital in August 2012. As a veterinary technician, her responsibilities include taking samples for testing, assisting during surgery and examinations and communicating with clients.

"I enjoy working at Pennington Animal Hospital because we're not just co-workers - we're family," she says. "The doctors and staff are very compassionate and eager to help the patients and clients. Every day is a learning experience and I'm so glad to be a part of this team."

Brooke has a Chihuahua named Taco and a tabby cat named Belle. In her free time Brooke enjoys fishing, hunting, being outdoors, playing with her pets, and spending time with her husband and family.

Head Receptionist

Natalie Cason has been developing relationships with Pennington Animal Hospital's clients and their pets — her favorite part of her job — since October 2002. As our office manager and head receptionist, her responsibilities include scheduling appointments, checking patients in and out, maintaining patient records and managing our supply inventory. Natalie has a bachelor's degree in psychology.

"I like working at Pennington Animal Hospital because I trust the doctors here to put the pets' needs at the forefront of care," she says. "Our team is dedicated to providing quality, caring pet care and it feels good to work for a clinic with such integrity."

Natalie has a domestic shorthair named Sherbert. She loves spending her free time visiting zoos and animal parks, reading and traveling.

<? echo $title ;?>Jessica Nacole Phillips, Veterinary Technician

Jessica is a dedicated and skilled veterinary technician who has been a member of the Pennington Animal Hospital team since 2013. Her responsibilities include taking samples for laboratory testing, radiographs, sterilizing instruments and equipment, assisting during dental procedures and preparing patients for surgery.

"The doctors and the staff work closely together and the degree of care and compassion shown every day makes this a great team to be a part of," she says. "We all try our best to provide the best care for each animal and that's rewarding."

Jessica has three dogs: Anna, a Chihuahua; Reese, a Labrador Retriever; and Honey, a Cocker Spaniel. In her free time she enjoys spending time with her family and her husband, riding her Harley, fishing and playing with her dogs.

Jennifer Worley is a veterinary technician that's been a passionate, committed member of the Pennington Animal Hospital staff since June of 2014. Her job responsibilities include assisting in dentals, prepping for surgery, caring for boarders during their stay, and making sure the clinic is clean.

"There's no single thing I like the most about working here, because everything is great," Jennifer says. "I'm doing what I love to do."

At home she cares for two dogs: an American Staffordshire named Naudia and an American Bulldog named Jake. In her free time Jennifer enjoys visiting family members, swimming, hunting, and fishing.

Rebecca Newberry joined the team at Pennington Animal Hospital in September 2014, but she's been employed in animal-related positions since 2010. Her job responsibilities at our animal hospital include answering phones, scheduling appointments, and assisting clients.

"I love the atmosphere here," Rebecca says. "The doctors and staff are so friendly and helpful. They always put the care of the animals first."

At home, Rebecca is the pet parent to a five year old King Charles Spaniel named Bubba. In her free time, she enjoys reading, playing video games, going for walks with Bubba, spending time with her family, and going to thrift stores with her mother.

Shelby Campbell has been working with animals since 2011, and she's been a member of the staff at our animal hospital since September of 2014. Her duties at our animal hospital include scheduling appointments, maintaining records, checking clients in and out, and tending to general client needs as necessary. She graduated with a degree in Veterinary Technology from Jefferson State Community College.

"I enjoy working at Pennington Animal Hospital because I believe the doctors and staff truly have the animals' best interest at heart," Shelby says. "I also like that the doctors and staff have personal interest in how our clients are doing - just as our clients care about us."

At home Shelby has two dogs: a Boston Terrier mix named Kyly and a Labrador mix named Marlee. In her free time she enjoys hiking with her dogs and her boyfriend, playing pool, and spending time with her friends and family.
